E-Commerce Associate
Houston, TX | Part-time | Contract
We’re currently looking for someone to join our small team. You would be working across several brands, including Give A Fluff and Corgli & Co. You would primarily be responsible for online order fulfillment and inventory management. However, as part of a small team of people who each wear several hats, your role would also involve in-house production, product packaging, event prep, and helping at events or popups. The role would require some flexibility as you may need to be available during some evenings and weekends. Details will be discussed at the interview stage for shortlisted applicants.
This is a part-time contract role based near Downtown Houston, TX.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Becoming familiar and knowledgeable of products
- Checking and processing incoming inventory
- Packaging incoming stock
- Producing or assembling products created in-house
- Counting inventory
- Assisting with managing stock levels
- Picking, packing and shipping orders via our online systems
- Delivering packages to the post office
- Working at events either locally, or some travel if you want
- Communicating with team members, customers, and vendors
- Maintaining a tidy work environment
- Performing other assigned duties
We’re looking for someone who is:
- 18 or older
- An excellent communicator
- Positive, patient, kind, and honest
- Comfortable interfacing and communicating with people via email, phone, and in person
- Very attentive to detail
- Organized
- Willing to take initiative and be self-aware
- Dependable
- Willing to follow direction and guidance
- Capable of recognizing when help is needed and will ask for it
- Able to complete tasks properly in a timely and efficient manner
- Capable of working on your own and as part of a team
- Able to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement best practices
- Comfortable working with computers and equipment, including heat presses and cutting machines
- Comfortable working in common software, including Google Docs and Google Sheets
- Able and willing to learn programs and apps that we use
- Able-bodied - must be able to lift 30 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs
And has:
- Reliable transportation
- Experience in retail (helpful, but not required)
